I'm an ethical taxidermist based in Dorset, with a deep passion for nature and a commitment to honouring the beauty of the natural world. My work is not just about preservation; it’s about transformation—turning tragedy into art and ensuring that the fleeting beauty of life is not lost to time. Every piece I create is a tribute to the creatures that once roamed our landscapes, allowing them to be appreciated in a new and lasting way.

 

At River Styx Curiosity, I practice ethical taxidermy, working only with animals that have passed naturally, through road accidents, or via rescue centres. Nothing is ever killed for the purpose of taxidermy. I believe in giving these creatures a second existence, preserving them with care and respect while capturing the delicate balance between life and death.

 

My work is more than just a craft—it's a way to honour the natural world, spark curiosity, and challenge perceptions of mortality. Through my pieces, I hope to inspire appreciation for nature’s intricate beauty and the stories it leaves behind.
